Werkon is a smart-helmet system for construction site managers, pairing on-device AI with 3D scene reconstruction. As a manager walks the site, the helmet reconstructs the surroundings in 3D while an on-device model detects hazards and safety-compliance issues (for example, missing hardhats) in real time, logging each one against the reconstructed scene. Funded by the KAIST KITS program and presented at KAIST Innocore, Lotte Hotel, Seoul.
